NHS Fife's Senior Information Risk Office (SIRO) is Margo McGurk, Director of Finance & Strategy. The role supports implementation of international / government standards for information management and security.
SIRO Responsibilities include:
Ultimate accountability for assurance of information security across the organisation
Championing information security at Board level
Owning corporate policy on information security
Providing an annual statement on the security of information assets for the annual Governance Statement (as part of the year-end audit process)
