NHS Fife’s Code of Corporate Governance is an all-encompassing suite of documents setting out Fife Health Board’s Standing Orders, Scheme of Delegation, Standing Financial Instructions and Code of Conduct for Board Members. These documents set out best practice principles and processes to help the Board maintain good quality corporate governance, contribute to better organisational performance, and, ultimately, provide safe, effective services for patients.
The Code is reviewed on an annual basis by the Audit & Risk Committee, who consider any changes being proposed, and is then formally adopted by the Board. The most recent iteration of the Code as approved by the Board can be downloaded by clicking on the box below.
