How your donations make a difference
Every pound donated to Fife Health Charity helps to make a positive difference for the patients, staff and communities supported by NHS Fife across the Kingdom.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors our charity has been able to fund a range of projects and activities, including:
- The ICU roof garden at Victoria Hospital which allows critical care patients to benefit from being outdoors whilst receiving their care.
- New staff hubs across NHS Fife hospitals and health centres which allow staff to take time out to rest and recharge away from busy wards and services.
- A range of enhancements to the refurbished Victoria Hospice which have created a homely environment for patients receiving palliative care.
- Family and relatives rooms in wards across the NHS Fife hospitals which enables patients and their families to spend time together away from their beds during their stay in hospital.
- Training and development for NHS Fife staff to increase their knowledge and skills leading to improved patient care and experience.
- New equipment to enhance patient care and their experience within NHS Fife, from RITA devices which support people living with dementia, to cold caps for people receiving chemotherapy and neonatal positioning aids to support neuromuscular development and comfort of pre-term babies born in Fife.
