In April 2020, an exceptional donation of £500,000 was gifted to NHS Fife. The benefactors, who wish to remain anonymous, specified that the money should be used to address the urgent needs of patients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The benefactors gave a second generous donation of £250,000 after being pleased with the creativity with which their original gift was used. This donation is being used to further support NHS Fife patients and healthcare staff as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
