During the initial period of lockdown, from March 2020, NHS Fife was inundated with offers of help and support from the local community. Support ranged from companies which raised money for our Fife Health Charity to offers from local people volunteering support during the crisis. It included a very large one-off financial donation which was unprecedented in NHS Fife and much appreciated. We also had offers of additional PPE and generous donations to benefit our staff, often in the form of food and drinks and other items which helped them get through. All of this support was greatly appreciated and we simply can’t thank you enough for this support.
