The Health Promotion Service specialist Health Promotion Officers support the development and delivery of early intervention and prevention activities in partnership with other agencies to reduce barriers and promote positive health and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people and enable them to reach their full potential. This is achieved through;
- developing and supporting health promoting activities, resources, projects and programmes
- supporting training and workforce development for organisations working with children and young people in Fife
- reducing health inequalities by addressing the wider determents of health (i.e. child poverty)
