There are many resources available to help and support women who use drugs and alcohol in pregnancy. We also have very experienced midwives who specialise in support women and their families throughout and after the pregnancy. It is really important if you are having problems and using drugs or alcohol in your pregnancy that you let your midwife know. We will help and support you and offer care that is tailored to your individual problems. 

DAPL drug and alcohol project 

Based in Levenmouth, the DAPL drug and alcohol project offers one to one counselling, support, information and advice to individuals and families who are affected by substance use and live within Fife. The service is free and confidential and offered by experienced workers.

Fife Intensive Rehabilitation & Substance Misuse Team (FIRST)

The F.I.R.S.T  Fife intensive and rehabilitation and substance misuse team provides a community based rehabilitation service to individuals in Fife with drug or alcohol issues via one to one, group and volunteer support. Our overarching aim and purpose is to provide a quality rehabilitation service to clients who wish to change their lifestyle
