We provide secondary mental health services such as specialist mental health assessment and treatment for people who may need to be in mental health hospital for support and specialist treatment for a broad range of difficulties, usually short term, and with a strong focus on person-centred individualised care and treatment by specialist multidisciplinary teams of doctors, nurses and occupational therapists using the best evidence-based approaches to help people get better as quickly as possible. We want people in hospital to participate in decisions about their care and treatment and play an active part in their own recoveries.
