If there is any doubt about your fitness to do these exercises then please discuss this with a physiotherapist or GP. Beginning any new exercise may lead to an increase in physical symptoms initially however this increase should only be short term.
If the exercises and advice cause a large increase in your pain or after 12 weeks there are no noticeable changes in your day to day symptoms then please contact your GP or the NHS Inform Musculoskeletal Helpline for more advice.
