Our text number does not receive voice calls or MMS picture messages. We support messaging from UK mobile numbers only (which does not include messages from landlines, international mobile numbers and some ‘number masking’ mobile apps).
The text service will enable you to access advice, information and support from staff from the School Nursing Health Hub on a range of issues such as healthy lifestyle, sleep, smoking, emotions, relationships and sexual health.
This is a confidential health service. We will not share your information without your consent unless we become concerned about the safety or welfare of yourself or others.
All messages are stored securely and may be seen by other healthcare professionals, bound by NHS confidentiality rules.
This is not a 24/7 service and you should call 999 immediately in the case of an emergency. If urgent medical advice is required, please contact NHS24 on 111.
The service will operate 9am–4:30pm Monday to Friday excluding weekends and public holidays.
